Settings under Surveillance Mode
To access your settings follow steps one through three in the instructions above. Mode specific settings will allow you to customize the times it records based on the environment.
While in Surveillance Mode click on the icon on the left hand side to bring up the setting menu.
Audio Detection is the default setting. Audio Detection gives you the capability of getting a recording when the camera picks up noise, this recording will be stored on the camera and you will have the ability to view this recording from your phone. Motion Detection is pretty much the same except it picks up movement instead of noise.
Under Audio Detection or Motion Detection, you have the choice between Photo and Video. This is the type of media that will be returned to you if audio/movement has been detected.
The next setting has a choice of 0, 5, 10, 30, and 60 seconds. This is the amount of time you want between the time the noise/motion is made and the time the picture/video is actually taken.
The last setting is a list of numbers from 1 to 10. This signifies the intensity of the sound/movement, one being the most sensitive and 10 being the least. This setting has a broad range of choices, take time to play with this to make sure you get the most accurate number.
If you choose video, there will be one additional setting, this will have a 5, 10, 30, 60, and 180. This setting will decide how long each video will be. If you choose 5 seconds, it will keep recording until 5 seconds after the last sound made.
To save the settings, click the done button in the top left hand corner.
Note: There may be a slight delay in the timing between the camera and the device.
