Why does my video appear split and stacked?
The maximum resolution for the video is 6480x1080. In order to play the video on a standard video player and provide you the complete 360° view, we take the video and split it down the middle in the maximum resolution to give you two 1080 strips. With our V.360 players you can play the entire video and you can pan left and right to see the entire video. You can edit the max resolution with editing software to get a single strip but you will be required to post edit.
A few tips: The center of the image is where the LED is pointing. Wherever the LED is pointing that will be the center of the image and where the video will be split. You can get a perfect front and back of a 360 video by positioning the LED 90° to the right or 90° to the left. This will split the video on the edge and provide a front and back view.
